Griffin Claims Decisive Victory In Arkansas’ 2nd District

U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin claimed a decisive victory in Tuesday’s 2nd District primary, beating Scott Wallace by 25+ points.  The victory is the beginning of an exciting election season in Arkansas that will end with a new conservative leader in the 2nd District.

Griffin’s campaign has been an issues-based, grassroots movement.  His ability to reach out and connect with traditional Republicans as well as TEA Party activists was a big part of his primary victory.  Holding both groups will be critical as he moves forward to the general election.

An Eric Cantor understudy, Tim represents the new brand of conservatism that is spreading like wildfire across the country.  It is the Pence, Boehner, Cantor, Ryan conservatism.  The conservatism that has held the line through a year and a half of Obama; that has stood up to Nancy Pelosi’s Far Left agenda.  The conservatism that will continue to hold the line until January 2013.  And the conservatism that will lead the charge towards real economic recovery.

Griffin told supporters during his victory speech on Tuesday night that the fight for conservative values in D.C. has just begun.  Reiterating his campaign mantra, Griffin said that the road to a new conservative majority runs through the 2nd District.  “We are going to send Nancy Pelosi back to San Francisco.”
