Before we enter the long weekend, I just wanted to let everyone know about a few things coming up next week with Citizens for Responsible Taxation.
- On Monday evening, we will be conducting another scientific opinion poll on the bypass tax proposal.
- Tuesday morning, early voting begins at the county clerk’s office (315 N. Spruce in Searcy)
- Tuesday afternoon I will be back on The Dave Elswick program on KARN in Little Rock. You can tune in at 102.9 FM, 920 AM or KARNNewsRadio.com. I’m not sure exactly what time I’ll be going on air yet, but I will post it on my Twitter feed as soon as I confirm.
In case you missed my interview on News Talk 99 yesterday, let me just say: our opposition, grassroots movement against the tax has a lot of momentum going into early voting next week. We had nearly 10 callers, all but one against the tax. The county judge himself even called in. With your help, CRT is creating a dialog. Our message is getting out.
So a big thank you goes out to all of you who are reposting our articles, sending out emails, distributing fliers, putting up signs, etc. I could never accomplish anything without your constant encouragement & support.
Enjoy your Labor Day weekend, but come back ready to keep up the good fight. We cannot relent.
