Boozman Bus Coming Back to Searcy

Tomorrow, October 27th, Congressman John Boozman will make his second bus tour stop of the year in Searcy.

The congressman is currently running to unseat incumbent U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln.

The stop is part of the congressman’s final bus tour of the campaign that runs all the way through November 1st.  To see if the congressman is visiting a town near you, visit his website.

Congressman Boozman will be at Harding University in Cone Chapel greeting guests at noon.

There is no charge for admission.

Fundraising Luncheon with Congressman John Boozman, August 13th

Congressman John Boozman (AR-3) will be hosting a fundraising luncheon in Searcy on August 13th at Doc’s Grill.

All are invited & welcome to attend, but space is limited–guests must RSVP on Facebook.

The luncheon is co-hosted by several local business leaders.  In addition, co-hosts include politicians such as Congressman Ed Bethune, former U.S. Senate candidate Fred Ramey, & State Representative Jonathan Dismang.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m.

Dick Morris Coming To Searcy, July 15

Former Clinton adviser, converted conservative & current Fox News contributor Dick Morris will be in Searcy, AR on July 15th.  The event is hosted by Americans For Prosperity as part of their “November is Coming” tour throughout Arkansas.

The event will be held in the Founder’s Room at Harding University at 9:00 a.m.

Also joining the tour is former conservative Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate, D.C. Morrison.

Attendees are asked to register here — there is no cost for the event but registration will help the group account for refreshments & seating.

Boozman Opens 29-Point Lead Over Lincoln

Arkansas politicos are buzzing today with news that Congressman John Boozman (AR-3) has opened up a 29-point lead over incumbent Blanche Lincoln in the race for U.S. Senate.

Rasmussen Reports released the numbers this morning, showing Boozman beating Blanche 2-to-1 and winning the independent vote 79% to 15%.

For those of you unfamiliar with political polling, these numbers are staggering & perhaps unprecedented.  Never say never in politics, but it would just about take an act of God to get Lincoln within striking distance. Continue reading
